Woodland Carbon Scheme

RNB Group invest in Woodland Carbon with the Woodland Trust

About the scheme and how we contribute

At RNB Group we’re proud to contribute to Woodland Carbon, a unique scheme organised by the Woodland Trust, which helps companies in the UK to reduce their carbon footprint.

We do this through planting trees to lock up carbon emissions. For every tonne of paper we order, we pay the Woodland Trust £8.50. This contribution goes towards the replanting of trees on land acquired for this purpose.

This new woodland harnesses nature’s simple and powerful way of removing carbon dioxide from the environment.

Why the Woodland Carbon Scheme is important

Unfortunately, global warming isn’t going anywhere. Our planet continues to warm up as a result of the continual release of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere.

Thankfully, trees are one of nature’s most efficient tools in helping us cool down the planet.

Trees naturally absorb harmful carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from the atmosphere, helping us to cleanse and purify the air.

Our contribution to the Woodland Carbon scheme helps to reduce RNB’s carbon footprint by mitigating carbon emissions through planting new trees.

We think it’s a great idea and we’re glad we can contribute in some way.
